The Crystal Waters Bakery is a micro-bakery that specializes in hand-mixed organic sourdough breads baked in a wood-fired oven. They are based in the beautiful Mary Valley supplying fresh flavoursome bread direct to the public from the bakery and at local markets. The baking schedule begins two nights night before with the preparation of the oven and the starters, then a full day of mixing the dough, proving and shaping until they are finally baked during the evening prior to being sold fresh at the markets the next morning. Many ingredients are sourced locally with future plans being to process these ingredients within the community and eventually selling only from the bakery.
